Privacy Policy

How Edumagined collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to edumagined.com and prospective customers. This policy covers the marketing website only — school user data inside the platform is governed by separate Data Processing Agreements with each school.

Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Who we are

Edumagined is an independently-owned K-12 school operations platform. This Privacy Policy is issued by Edumagined (“we”, “us”, “our”) and applies to information collected through the marketing website at edumagined.com. Questions or rights requests: info@edumagined.com.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to inquiries and improve the site:

  • Information you give us — name, school, role, email, phone, and any message you submit through demo, contact, comparison, or partner forms.
  • Automatic technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer, and approximate location (country/region), collected through server logs and Google Analytics 4.
  • Cookies — a small set of first-party cookies for security (CSRF token), session continuity, and — only with your consent — analytics.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this marketing website. The Edumagined platform itself is operated by schools as the data controller and is subject to their own privacy policies and our Data Processing Agreements.

3. How we use it

  • Respond to demo requests, comparison inquiries, and contact form submissions.
  • Send a confirmation email and follow-up messages related to your inquiry.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use submission data for ad targeting.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted processors, each bound by their own privacy and security commitments:

  • Cloudflare — DDoS protection, CDN, edge security.
  • InMotion Hosting — web and database hosting.
  • SendGrid (Twilio) — transactional and confirmation emails.
  • HighLevel (GHL) — CRM for managing demo requests and follow-up.
  • Google Analytics 4 — site analytics (loaded only if you consent to analytics cookies).

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction (with notice).

5. International transfers

Edumagined is operated from the United States. If you submit information from outside the US, that information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards with our processors.

6. Retention

We retain form submissions for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the inquiry, typically up to 3 years. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained per the GA4 default (14 months). You can request earlier deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Delete — ask us to delete your information (subject to legal exceptions).
  • Object or restrict — ask us to stop or limit certain processing.
  • Portability — receive a portable copy of your data.
  • Opt out — opt out of analytics cookies and email follow-ups at any time.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the rights above plus the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights, and the right to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — though we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising.

EEA / UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): our lawful bases for processing are (a) your consent for analytics cookies and marketing follow-up, (b) legitimate interest in responding to your inquiries and securing the site, and (c) legal obligation where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise any right, email info@edumagined.com from the email address you used to contact us, or include enough detail for us to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days (or 45 days for CCPA requests).

8. Cookies

We use:

  • Strictly necessary — CSRF token cookie for form security. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics (optional) — Google Analytics 4 cookies, loaded only if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal — if either is enabled, analytics are not loaded and we treat it as a CCPA opt-out. You can change your cookie choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

9. Security

We use TLS everywhere, defense-in-depth at the application and infrastructure layers, signed cookies for CSRF protection, rate limiting on all form endpoints, and server-side input validation. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe you’ve found a vulnerability, please email info@edumagined.com with the subject line “Security”.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above, and where required, we’ll provide additional notice.
